AIM:

The aim of the course is to equip Learners with the knowledge, skill and competence to design, install and commission heat pump systems for domestic space heating and hot water supply in accordance with applicable standards and codes of practice.

OBJECTIVES:

The programme will provide an extensive insight into Heat Pump Systems and will prepare candidates for the end of programme examinations. Learners who successfully complete the course and are recommended for certification, can apply for registration with the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland as a Qualified Installer.

Trainee profile:           Level 6 National Craft Certificate or Advanced Craft Certificate in Plumbing, Electrical, Refrigeration, Fitters[1]  or equivalent.
