Aim:

The aim of this course is to provide participants with the skills and related knowledge to enable them to diagnose faults, service & repair a range of central heating boilers to manufacturer’s specifications and to comply with current regulations and codes of practice.

Objectives:

The programme will provide an insight into gas boiler servicing, fault finding, repairs and maintenance on domestic gas central heating boilers.

Content:

Day 1:

• Gas test equipment & system gas pressures,
• Electrical test equipment & procedures
• Practical training workshop

Day 2:

• Central heating boilers (standard & high efficiency)
• Combi boilers
• Flue gas analysis
• Practical training workshop

Day 3:               

• Gas boiler controls, components & testing
• Practical Training workshop

Day 4:

• Gas boiler servicing
• Practical training workshop
