We at METAC are dedicated to assisting installers and service technicians working in the energy field, in achieving the highest possible standards through a theoretical and practical approach to training using the most up to-date equipment and technology available.

 

METAC Trainers

Our trainers all work in the industries both nationally and internationally in which they train which ensures they are up-to-date with the latest technologies and issues that participants may face on a daily basis. They continually revise and update their skills to ensure they impart the latest knowledge to participants. This ensures a highly engaging learning experience, which gives learners confidence when they get to the end of course assessments.

 

Classroom Learning Experience

METAC offer face to face teaching at our Training Centre in Mountrath, Co. Laois. All our class numbers are kept small from 4 to 12 learners per class, this ensures a highly effective learning experience, where learners are encouraged to engage with other learners and their Trainer.

All our theory rooms are fully equipped with a projector and screen, our desks are positioned in a U-shape to encourage learners participation.

The METAC canteens provide space away from the classroom setting, to encourage learners to interact with each other and relax while on designated breaks. The 2 canteens within METAC training are fully equipped with fridges, toasters, Burko boilers, kettles, dishwashers etc. We have a vending machine, smoking area, free onsite parking and both male and female toilets as well as a wheelchair accessible toilet. The building is wheelchair accessible.

 

Online Learning Experience

Currently METAC do not offer an online option for training

 

Training Equipment within the Facility

Our training facility houses the most up to date equipment which permits a high degree of live and simulated training which effectively reflects an authentic work environment. All our training is complemented by the use of training aids, which include custom made training rigs and demonstration models.

Once learners complete a course they are offered a tour of the building to see if there are any other training requirements they may have
